The Leukemia Working Group is a connecting platform of accomplished professionals, including hematologists, clinicians, residents, pathologists, and molecular biologists. This collaborative educational initiative convenes monthly, providing a platform for the exchange of expertise and case discussions. The primary aim of these meetings is to promote the standard of medical care for patients who have leukemia and related conditions. Additionally, the initiative fosters knowledge-sharing and facilitates enhanced communication within the local medical community.
Dr. Hayk Grigoryan: Co-Chair from Armeia, is the Deputy Medical Director at Hematology and Oncology Center
Dr. Marina Konopleva: Co-Chair from USA, is a Professor of Oncology and Molecular Pharmacology, Director of the Leukemia Program and Co-Director of the Blood Cancer Institute, at Montefiore Einstein. Dr Marina Konopleva's clinical proficiency spans the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies, including acute myeloid and acute lymphoblastic leukemia, as well as high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome and chronic myeloid leukemia. Her contributions significantly enrich our discussions and contribute to the advancement of our collective understanding of the field.
