Dr. Ruzanna Papyan, MD., graduated from Yerevan State Medical University in 2016 and currently works as pediatric oncologist at Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center. From 2019 she is working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology at Yerevan State Medical University and leads the Musculoskeletal Multidisciplinary Working Group, Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. Since 2022 she also works as Clinical Research Physician at Immune Oncology Research Institute. She is member of following societies: AAHO (Armenian Association of Hematology and Oncology), SOHO (Society of Hematologic Oncology), ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology), SIOP (International Society of Paediatric Oncology), ESO (European School of Oncology), POEM (Pediatric Oncology East and Mediterranean Group). From 2022 she coordinates educational sessions of GNN (Global Neuroblastoma Network), which is international multidisciplinary neuroblastoma tumor board platform for resource-limited countries. She periodically participates in various international and local conferences. From 2019-2021 she was studying at Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, Postgraduate Cancer Research Program. Currently she is working on her Ph.D. at YSMU, and her topic of research is soft tissue and bone sarcomas among children and young adults. Her scope of interests are neuroblastomas and sarcomas.
