Nune Karapetyan, MD, MPH, is a medical oncologist working at the Department of Chemotherapy and Oncology of the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center. Dr. Karapetyan did a double degree in medicine (MD) from YSMU and public health (MPH) from AUA. She is actively involved in clinical and research activities in the field of cancer. She has shared research knowledge and experience in a number of scientific meetings such as the ESMO congress, ASCO annual meeting, SIOP congress, etc. Namely, she had presentations on "The risk of severe-critical COVID-19 infection diagnosed with solid malignancies" at the ESMO 2021 congress, and “Modern methods of fertility preservation among children, adolescents, and young adults receiving active anticancer treatment” in Armenian-Russian Pediatric Oncology-Hematology Conference.
Currently, she coordinates the Lung Cancer Working Group (LCWG) under Immune Oncology Research Institute (IMMONC) and is a co-investigator of the research team establishing the Hereditary/Familial Cancer Predisposition Program in Armenia.
