Anna Martirosyan is the Head of the Scientific Department at Santé Arménie NGO in France and the Lead of Translational Research at the Immune Oncology Research Institute in Armenia. She leads an immuno-oncology research team, coordinates international projects, builds partnerships with academic labs, healthcare professionals, and pharma companies, and manages fundraising and marketing strategies.
From 2019 to 2023, Anna worked at Veracyte, France, as the Immuno-Oncology Biomarkers Expert Team Leader and Senior Scientist. She also has a background in developing clinical assays and training teams at Veracyte from 2017 to 2019.
Earlier in her career, Anna was a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Research in Oncobiology and Oncopharmacology, France and the National Institute for Medical Research, UK, where she led studies on pancreatic cancer immunosuppression and tuberculosis.
Anna Martirosyan holds a PhD in Immunology from the Center of Immunology Marseille-Luminy, France, and the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research, USA (2012). She also earned an M.S. in Immunology from Aix-Marseille University, France (2008), and a BS in Cell Biology from the same university (2006).
The has published 14 research articles, holds patents, and actively organizes scientific events, including serving as Vice-President of the International Summit in Immuno-Oncology in Armenia (2025) and President of the Immunology MasterClass in Yerevan (2024). Anna is also a member of scientific organizations like COST.
