Lusine Harutyunyan is a hematologist at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center. She studied at Yerevan State Medical University and completed advanced training at Chester Medical School in the UK from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, she passed the European Hematology Exam, which assesses the expertise of hematologists across Europe. In 2023, Dr. Harutyunyan obtained her Good Clinical Practice certification (GCP), which allows her to participate in clinical trials, including one focused on the safety and efficacy of Balstilimab for treating certain lymphomas.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Harutyunyan is a junior researcher and a university lecturer. Her research mainly explores blood cancers and interdisciplinary methods, collaborating with specialists in rheumatology and microbiology. She has published 23 papers in peer-reviewed journals, many of which she has presented at international conferences. In 2023, she spoke at over 10 conferences, concentrating on topics like Iron Deficiency Anemia and the socioeconomic effects of cancer. Dr. Harutyunyan also attended 12 conferences as a trainee.
