The Immune Oncology Research Institute (IMMONC) is announcing the opening of the IMMONC Research Fellowship Program-Armenia. This program is dedicated to supporting young oncologists and hematologists in Armenia.
Through this program, we aim to provide promising individuals with the opportunity to engage in independent research projects while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment.
About IMMONC
Established in April 2022, IMMONC is a non-profit research and educational organization located in Yerevan. We are committed to improving cancer outcomes through supporting talented professionals and conducting impactful research.
Program Objectives
The IMMONC Research Fellowship Program is designed to foster the professional development of the oncology research community in Armenia, aligning with the mission of IMMONC to establish a sustainable and reliable platform for cancer research in the country. The program seeks to retain highly skilled professionals in Armenia and enhance the country's presence in international scientific arena.
Fellows who successfully complete the program will be able to initiate, lead, and manage future research projects independently, becoming key contributors to the field of oncology.
Program Description
Candidates will present a research project during the application process. Selected candidates must work on their project for a period of one year with the help of their assigned advisors. Fellows must also be engaged in two other ongoing IMMONC projects and must present quarterly progress reports of their completed work.

Submitted proposals will be evaluated by a selection committee appointed by IMMONC. Selected applicants will enroll in the IMMONC Research Fellowship Program-Armenia for a one-year term, commencing in December 2023 and concluding in November 2024.
