Dr. Karl Balabanian, a distinguished immunologist and Research Director at INSERM (St Louis Hospital, Paris), recently visited Armenia at the invitation of Santé Arménie.
Dr Balabanian shared his pioneering contributions to the field of immuno-hematology on October 1st at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center.
Following his memorable presentation, Dr Balabanian has met the teams at the Immune Oncology Research Institute and Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center to discuss the strategies and collaboration opportunities for the establishment of the 1st immune-oncology translational research laboratory in Armenia, while initiating the bases for organizing an international congress on this topic in 2025.
