Amalya Sargsyan was recently granted an ESO Fellowship in Milan, Italy, under the esteemed mentorship of P.G. Casali, with guidance from a distinguished team including Anna Maria Frezza and Salvatore Provenzano.
The three-month observership based at the Medical Oncology Unit within Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale Tumori in Milan, specializes in adult soft tissue sarcomas, bone sarcomas, and gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
This unit serves as a reference center in Italy for these conditions, and offers a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, emphasizing collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches alongside surgical and radiation oncology departments. Participants will be engaged in clinical trials and translational research projects, also benefit from a rich educational environment with a focus on sarcomas and rare cancers.
