Julieta Hoveyan, MD is a pediatric oncologist at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, Hematology Center after Prof. R. H. Yeolyan. She graduated from Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi with a diploma of honor in 2019. From 2019 to 2022 she did a clinical fellowship in the field of pediatric hematology and oncology at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia. From the beginning of the fellowship, she periodically participated in various international and local conferences, workshops, and trainings. Dr. Hoveyan has presented abstracts at respected international conferences such as the International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology (ISPNO) and the annual meeting of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP). She is a member of the following societies: SIOP (International Society of Pediatric Oncology), POEM (Pediatric Oncology East and Mediterranean), ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology), ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology), and SNO (Society of Neuro-oncology). Dr. Hoveyan’s scientific interests are pediatric CNS tumors, cancer biology, and immune-oncology. Currently, she is a virtual pediatric neuro-oncology fellow at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Hoveyan is also interested in clinical research and currently, is attending the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program at the Harvard Medical School. In December 2022, she joined the Immune Oncology Research Institute team. With the mentorship of Dr. Ruzanna Papyan she is working on programs related to pediatric oncology. Currently, Dr. Hoveyan works on the establishment of an international registry of pediatric rare CNS embryonal tumors.
Lusine Harutyunyan is working as a hematologist-oncologist at Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center. She is working in inpatient and outpatient departments. She gained her knowledge at Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi and completed a postgraduate diploma course at Chester Medical School, University of Chester, UK, and in 2020, she passed the European Hematology Exam. In 2023, she gained her GCP certification.
Besides her clinical practice, she is a young researcher and a university lecturer. Her research focuses mainly on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms and interdisciplinary approaches. A couple of her papers are published in peer-reviewed journals authored by her and her colleagues. Journals include “The Journal of ImmunoTherapy of Cancer,” “Blood,” “Clinical Lymphoma, Myeloma & Leukemia,” and others. Lusine participated as a speaker in 7 conferences in 2023, mainly focusing on Iron Deficiency Anemia and the Socioeconomic impact of Cancers. She also participated in more than 30 local and international conferences, of which two were as a chairman.
Currently, Lusine’s primary focus is on immunotherapy research, and joining our team is an excellent opportunity for her to realize her research ideas.
Toma Oganezova, is a 2nd-year Oncology Resident at Mikaelyan University Hospital. She graduated from Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi in 2023. Since 2023, Toma Oganezova is a Content Curator at OncoDaily.
She has a strong interest in scientific research and is a member of several prestigious societies, including the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). In September 2024, she joined the Immune Oncology Research Institute as a research fellow.
Aren Karapetyan, MD, is a 3-rd year Oncology Resident at – National Center of Oncology Named after V.A. Fanarjian. He graduated Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi in 2022. Aren is a Content Creator and a member of the Intelligence Unit at OncoDaily.
Since 2023, Aren is a Board member at the Armenian Association of Digital Health-AADH. He is also the Co-Founder of Heratsi iLab and a Site Coordinator at St.Jude Global PrOFILE programme.
Aren Karapetyan is a member of different societies, including the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Pediatric Oncology East and Mediterranean Group (POEM), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European School of Oncology (ESO) and the the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO).
Since September 2024, he joined the Immune Oncology Research Institute as a research fellow.
Aharon Tsaturyan, MD, is a resident oncologist at – National Center of Oncology Named after V.A. Fanarjian. He graduated from Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi in 2024. From 2022 to 2024, he was a member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of General Medicine at YSMU.
In 2024, Aharon completed a six-month program, Leadership of Medicine, at the Leadership Development and Innovations Academy of Armenia. Since 2024, he is a member of the Intelligence Unit at OncoDaily.
