Aren Karapetyan, MD, is a 3-rd year Oncology Resident at the National Center of Oncology Named after V.A. Fanarjian. He graduated Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi in 2022. Aren is a Content Creator and a member of the Intelligence Unit at OncoDaily.
Since 2023, Aren is a Board member at the Armenian Association of Digital Health-AADH. He is also the Co-Founder of Heratsi iLab and a Site Coordinator at St.Jude Global PrOFILE programme.
Aren Karapetyan is a member of different societies, including the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Pediatric Oncology East and Mediterranean Group (POEM), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European School of Oncology (ESO) and the the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO).
Since September 2024, he joined the Immune Oncology Research Institute as a research fellow.
ABOUT OUR FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The program’s goal is to foster the professional development of the oncology research workforce as part of IMMONC’s goal to create a reliable and sustainable environment for the conduct of cancer research in Armenia.
This program will provide fellows with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct quality research, give them the opportunity to receive mentorship, guidance, and multidisciplinary support to conduct innovative research of their choosing, and be involved in the projects of IMMONC.
Participants who complete their fellowship will have completed a research project of adequate value and impact and should be able to initiate, lead, and coordinate future research projects independently.
