Garabet Yeretssian earned his Ph.D in Molecular Biology from Nantes University, where he achieved the dean's honor roll. He served as the Director of the Crohn's Disease Program, where he was responsible for developing and implementing the program's strategic direction, building and leading the team, sourcing and managing all CD grants and initiatives globally, and partnering and supporting the broader CD community.
From 2011 to 2016, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and since May 2022, he has been the Science Program Manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Institute.
Dr. Yeretssian is an experienced executive and scientific leader in the non-profit, biotech, and academic space. He has a proven track record of leadership and expertise in precision medicine and has applied patient-centered, disruptive thinking to advance biomedical innovations and bring solutions to improve patient care.
